10 DAYS - MAASAI MARA AND ZANZIBAR SPECIAL
DAY 1: NAIROBI
Arrival Transfer to Hotel from airport. Afternoon at leisure.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 2: NAIROBI - MAASAI MARA
Start Maasai Mara tour. Overnight at campsite. Leave Nairobi via
the Great Rift Valley for the Maasai Mara Reserve, picnic lunch
en-route. On arrival proceed on a game drive in search of black
manned lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, buffalo and other plains
game. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: MAASAI MARA
Full day spent at Maasai Mara. Proceed on an early morning pre-breakfast
game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast
a further game drive before lunch at the campsite. After lunch
yet another game drive to flash out the numerous wildlife that
is to be found in this famous animal sanctuary. Dinner and overnight
at campsite.
DAY 4: MAASAI MARA - NAIROBI
Back to Nairobi after an early pre-breakfast game drive return
to camp then proceed to Nairobi taking a picnic lunch at the town
of Narok. Arrive in Nairobi in the early afternoon. Dinner and
overnight at Hotel.
DAY 5: NAIROBI - ZANZIBAR
Leave Nairobi on morning flight to Zanzibar. Overnight at the
Coral Cove for Homestays.
DAY 6:ZANZIBAR
Town tours to stone town area. Overnight at coral cove (breakfast
+ dinner).
DAY 7: ZANZIBAR
Optional Dolphin Tour (at extra cost) to swim with the dolphins.
Overnight at coral Cove (breakfast + dinner).
DAY 8 and 9: ZANZIBAR
At leisure Overnight at Coral Cove (breakfast +dinner).
DAYS 10: ZANZIBAR - NAIROBI
Visit central market and gift shops then take flight back to Nairobi
Continue on flight back home.

14 Days Kenya/Uganda
Day 1-Nairobi – Maasai
Mara
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive down the Escarpment via
the floor of the Great Rift Valley with picnic lunch at Narok.
Arrive the Maasai Mara in time for a late afternoon game viewing
enroute to a campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 & 3- Maasai Mara
Full day spent exploring the Maasai Mara, packed with elephant,
zebra, rhino, lion and all kinds of game throughout the year,
with the spectacular wildebeest migration from Serengeti Mainly
in July and August. Meals and overnight at campsite.
Day 4 - Maasai Mara - Kericho
After breakfast, view game enroute as you drive to the main road
and proceed to Kericho, an area known for its tea growing. Dinner
and overnight at a campsite.
Day 5 –Kericho/Jinja
After an early breakfast, depart for Jinja via the Busia border
to arrive late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at a campsite.
Day 6- Jinja
The spent spent rafting on the White Nile. Dinner and overnight
at a campsite.
Day 7- Jinja/Bwindi
Leave early via Mbarara to Bwindi Forest Reserve, arriving late
afternoon. Lunch will be served en-route, dinner and overnight
camping
Day 8– Bwindi
Departure from park headquarters with guides at 8.00 a.m to track
the rare mountain gorillas. Tourists group are to be small so
as not to interrupt with the gorilla’s habitat. The rest
of the group is left at campsite and can leisurely walk within
the vicinity under the surveillance of a guide / ranger.
Day 9 – Bwindi/ Queen
Elizabeth.
We will drive north along the Zaire border to Ishasha River and
Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park is one of the most popular
in Uganda, covering almost 2000 sq km and protects the entire
Ugandan shore of Lake Edward. Mammals which are regularly seen
by visitors include vervet monkey, baboon, Uganda kob, warthog,
side-striped jackal, spotted hyena, bushbuck, topi, Defassa waterbuck,
elephant, buffalo, hippopotamus, lion and leopard. This area is
also famous for its tree-climbing lion.
Day 10 & 11 - Queen Elizabeth.
We take a short drive north to the Kazinga Channel and Mweya Lodge.
Mweya is a lovely place, which on a clear day offers spectacular
views across the channel to the glacial peaks of the Ruwenzori
Mountains. We will spend two nights here and take the boat trip
on the channel to view the splendid bird life and abundant
hippo. The boat trip also offers close encounters with elephant,
buffalo, waterbuck, Uganda kob and crocodiles.
Day 12 - Kampala.
Return to Kampala by afternoon at a hotel.
Day 13- Kampala – Nakuru
After breakfast, depart for Nakuru via the Busia border to arrive
late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at a campsite or hotel.
Day 14- Nakuru - Nairobi
Morning spent game viewing at Lake Nakuru National Park, a shallow
soda lake that has been described as “an ornithologist’s
paradise and one of the world’s most magnificent sights”
for a game drive. Here, one has an opportunity to see up to two
million flamingos besides tens of thousands of other birds if
lucky. Lake Nakuru is a rhino sanctuary and also harbors lions,
warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes, hippo and many other animals.
After lunch, proceed to Nairobi to arrive late in the afternoon.
Drop off at your hotel.
