Kenya Budget Camping Safaris

Our camping safaris are specially designed for those yearning to realize a real lifetime adventure and budget travelers, those who wish to get close to nature. Accommodation is on semi parmanent campsites or pitched tents. Our camping safaris cover Kenya's national parks and reserves with tremendous variety of birds and animals. The main attraction and the more popular parks such as Maasai Mara National Reserve and Amboseli, Samburu, Lake Nakuru among others are covered in our itineraries.

BAASC-001: 3 DAYS MAASAI MARA.

The Maasai Mara is Kenya's most celebrated game park, it offers the possibility of seeing "the big five" and many other species of game. This is where the great wildebeest migration is a spectacle to behold for any would be visitor to Kenya mainly in July and August of each year.

Day 1-Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive down the Escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley with picnic lunch at Narok. Arrive the Maasai Mara in time for a late afternoon game viewing en-route to a campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2- Maasai Mara
Full day spent exploring the Maasai Mara, packed with elephant, zebra, rhino, lion and all kinds of game throughout the year, with the spectacular wildebeest migration from Serengeti Mainly in July and August. Meals and overnight at campsite.

Day 3- Maasai Mara - Nairobi
Early morning game drive and after breakfast, depart for Nairobi arriving late afternoon.

BAASC 2- 3 DAYS SAMBURU GAME RESERVE.

A safari to the north via the high shoulder of Mountain Kenya to the Game Reserve of Samburu. Here the Ewaso Nyiro River supports a wide variety of game among them elephant, buffalo, cheetah leopard, lion, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Oryx and the long necked gerenuk. This park is popular for the 3 cats.

Day 1-Nairobi/Samburu
Depart Nairobi and drive North passing through the rich agricultural farmland on the slopes via Mountain Kenya to Samburu Game Reserve with picnic lunch en route, a short game drive enroute to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2-Samburu
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast, Mid-morning game viewing, Afternoon game view drive. Meals and overnight at campsite.

Day 3-Samburu/Nairobi
Early morning game drive and after breakfast proceed to Nairobi with game drive enroute out of the Park. Picnic lunch enroute arriving Nairobi late afternoon.

BAASC-003: 3 DAYS AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Amboseli are the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. The waters from melted snow drain down the mountain under lava flows and surface in Amboseli, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains. Here, hippo, elephant, lion, cheetah and birdlife can be seen against the backdrop of the magnificent snow-capped mountain.

Day 1- NAIROBI/ AMBOSELI
Leave Nairobi and drive south through Maasai-land via Namanga on the Tanzania border to Amboseli. Short game drive en-route to campsite arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at campsite.

Day 2-AMBOSELI

Early morning game viewing , Return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast proceed for mid-morning game viewing, Return to campsite for lunch. After lunch break to let the dust settle, Evening game drive . Dinner and overnight at campsite.

Day 3-AMBOSELI/ NAIROBI
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast, Break up the camp then proceed for another game drive as you drive out of the park, Lunch enroute. Arrive Nairobi in the afternoon

BAASC 4- 4 DAYS LAKE NAKURU / MAASAI MARA.

A safari to the world famous Bird Sanctuary of Lake Nakuru, then South over the Mau Escarpment to Kenya's greatest concentration of game - the Maasai Mara

Day 1 - Nairobi/ Nakuru
Depart Nairobi in the morning stopping enroute to view the spectacular Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National park. Lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the Park. Here, one has an opportunity to see up to two million flamingos besides tens of thousands of other birds if lucky. Lake Nakuru is a rhino sanctuary and also harbors lions, warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes, hippo and many other animals. Dinner and overnight at campsite.

Day 2 - Nakuru/Maasai Mara
After breakfast depart for Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at campsite.

Day 3 - Maasai Mara
