4 Days Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Camping Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara
Drive through the Great Rift Valley, the dramatic landscape and the plains inhabited by Maasai pastoralists. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is reached in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will have a game drive to search out lion for which the reserve is famous. Dinner and overnight at the campsite
Day
2: Game drivesYou will enjoy two game drives, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. You will have numerous plains game viewing including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra, Masai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vulture. You may have an optional visit to a local Masai village. Dinner and overnight at the campsite
Day 3: Drive to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. You will have an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park after lunch. Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. Dinner and overnight at the campsite
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, you will have a chance to visit a unique sanctuary catering for a sizeable number of the endangered rhinocerous and the Rothschild giraffe. Leave for Nairobi late afternoon
