10 Days Kenya and Tanzania - camping This safari takes you to the Maasai Mara/Lake Nakuru/Serengeti/Ngorongoro crater Day 1 – Nairobi/Lake Nakuru Departing Nairobi in the morning; you drive down the Escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive. This park is famous for its bird life plus other game that includes the Rothschild Giraffe, rhinos, Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons, among others. Dinner and overnight at a campsite. Day
2 – Nakuru/Maasai MaraAfter breakfast, you drive south via Narok to the great Maasai Mara, lunch, followed by a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a campsite. Day 3 – Maasai Mara You spend the day exploring the park in search of game. Meals at the campsite. The Mara offers all kind of wildlife throughout the year. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant, with the spectacular wildebeest migration from Serengeti Mainly in July and August. Day 4 – Maasai Mara/Musoma After breakfast, you drive through the southern part of the reserve viewing game as we proceed to the Tanzanian border at Isebania / Sirari, and drive further to Musoma on the shores of the immense Lake Victoria for dinner and overnight. Day 5 – Musoma/Serengeti National Park You depart at leisure and drive south and west to the western corridor of the great Serengeti via Ndabaka Gate with a picnic lunch enroute. The afternoon is spent viewing game, if time allows, followed by dinner and overnight at a campsite at the Ndabaka Gate. Day
6 – Serengeti National ParkAfter breakfast, you view game as you drive through the park heading to the Central region of Seronera with picnic lunches. Dinner and overnight at one of the campsites at Seronera. Day 7 – Serengeti National Park You spend the day viewing game in the park, with extensive morning and afternoon game drives. Meals at the campsite. The Serengeti attracts a string of prey such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals and bat eared foxes. The park is also enriched with other game such as buffalo, giraffe, zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala, topi, Kongoni, Eland, Kirk’s dik dik, klipspringer, Oryx, waterbuck, and warthog), ostrich among others. Day 8 - Ngorongoro Crater After an early game drive, you depart for the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a full afternoon crater tour, with a break for lunch at one of the picnic sites. Dinner and overnight at a campsite. The Ngorongoro crater is renowned for is packs of Hunting Dogs and a large population of large mammals. You are likely to see Cheetah, buffalo, lion, hippo, elephant, rhino, wildebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, zebra, reedbuck, as well as thousands of flamingos. Day 9 – Ngorongoro/Arusha After a leisure breakfast, depart for Arusha with stopover enroute at the view points to enjoy the lovely sceneries to arrive early in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel. Day 10 – Arusha/Nairobi Board a Nairobi bound shuttle bus and drive to Nairobi to arrive at 1400 hrs.
12 Days Kenya and Tanzania camping This safari takes you to the Maasai Mara/Lake Nakuru/Amboseli/lake Manyara/Serengeti/Ngorongoro crater Day -1 Nairobi/ Maasai Mara Departing Nairobi in the morning; you drive down the Escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara, lunch, followed by a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a campsite. Day
2 & 3 - Maasai MaraYou spend the two days exploring the park in search of game. Meals at the campsite. The Mara offers all kind of wildlife throughout the year. Dinner and overnight at a campsite. Day 5 - Lake Nakuru /Amboseli After breakfast, you drive to Amboseli National reserve at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak with lunch enroute. You view game enroute to the campsite for dinner and overnight. Day 6 - Amboseli Morning and afternoon game drives to explore the park with the magnificent snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. Meals and overnight at the campsite. The Amboseli plains have an endless supply of water from melting snow drained from Mount Kilimanjaro. Animal species seen include hippo, giraffe, elephant, zebra, wildebeest, impala and leopard. The birdlife is also amazing. Day 7 - Amboseli /Lake Manyara After breakfast, you drive into Tanzania via the Namanga border, passing through Arusha to Lake Manyara National park, with fantastic view. Lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at a campsite. Lake Manyara is a shallow, alkaline lake that is part of the Rift Valley wall and the main attractions are its rich bird life, tree climbing lions and its hippos, which you can see at a closer range than many other places. The Lake is also a home to thousands of flamingos. Day 8 - Lake Manyara/Serengeti National park Early morning game drive and after breakfast, you drive to the Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch, viewing game enroute to a campsite at Seronera for dinner and overnight. Day 9 - Serengeti National park You spend the day viewing game in the park, with extensive morning and afternoon game drives. Meals at the campsite. Day 11- Ngorongoro/Arusha Morning crater tour then proceed to Arusha with packed lunches. Drop off at your hotel.
